CEO as a verb

2016 October 31. Monday.

Larry Ellison was the CEO of Oracle Corporation from its founding until late 2014. Being the CEO meant he didn’t write software or mop floors, he just moved people and money around.

Sometimes I do write software for computers and I use the word “programming”. It would be confusing if I used the same word to mean “putting events together”, so instead I use the word CEO.
